Overview
MasterClass is seeking a remote Enrollment Consultant for an approximately one-month, full-time assignment through TCW Global, with possible extension. The role owns a high-volume enrollment pipeline for cohort-based business education programs, using consultative selling, discovery, objection handling, CRM discipline, phone execution, and written follow-up to convert admitted candidates before enrollment deadlines. Candidates must have at least 3 years of consultative selling experience, be conversant in AI, comfortable with ambiguity, and available across U.S. time zones, including early-evening hours.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Run a high-volume call motion with 20–30+ meaningful conversations per day across scheduled consultations, inbound interest, and proactive outbound outreach.
- Conduct discovery-led conversations to understand each candidate's career goals, timing, budget, and program needs.
- Position the curriculum, live sessions, AI Labs, and cohort experience against each candidate's priorities.
- Handle objections related to price, time commitment, timing, and program fit, and confidently ask for the enrollment decision.
- Drive candidates from admitted to enrolled through disciplined phone and email follow-up ahead of enrollment deadlines.
- Own employer-sponsorship conversations, provide materials to support internal business cases, and help candidates navigate their approval processes.
- Maintain a clean and accurate pipeline with current CRM stages, detailed notes, disciplined follow-up cadence, and consistent activity tracking.
- Meet daily and weekly activity, response, conversion, retention, and target-attainment expectations in a cycle-based environment.
- Log recurring objections, questions, and sponsorship themes to improve call guides, FAQs, and email copy each cycle.
- Provide surge coverage during post-webinar follow-up and enrollment-deadline pushes.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of consultative selling experience running discovery-led sales conversations and closing considered purchases.
- Proven objection handling and closing skills, including the ability to address price, timing, and fit concerns and ask for a decision.
- A documented record of quota or target attainment, retention, or conversion performance in a cycle- or deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with sustained high-volume phone execution, including 20–30+ live conversations per day.
- Daily hands-on CRM discipline, including ownership of pipeline stages, notes, and follow-up cadence.
- Experience managing high-volume written follow-up with fast, warm, deal-advancing responses.
- Conversant in AI and how it is reshaping work and decision-making, with the ability to speak credibly with professionals evaluating an AI-adjacent program.
- Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-moving, remote environment and able to work independently on a short-term assignment.
- Available across U.S. time zones, including early-evening hours.
Relevant backgrounds may include Account Executive, Inside Sales Representative, SDR/BDR, Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Sales Consultant, Enrollment Consultant, or Renewals Specialist.
