Fractional Head Of Growth & Integration

Overview
About the Role
MarketerHire is seeking an exceptional senior growth marketer to serve as the Fractional Head of Growth & Integration for Constant Contact.
The conference is the world’s largest virtual email marketing conference, bringing together more than 29,000 marketers for programming across email, digital marketing, AI, ecommerce, B2B, nonprofit and small business marketing. Following Constant Contact’s acquisition of conference, there is a significant opportunity to develop it into a year-round audience, content and community platform that strengthens Constant Contact’s category leadership and creates measurable value across customer acquisition, engagement and growth.
This person will serve as the senior marketing owner responsible for connecting the conference to the broader Constant Contact organization and maximizing its value before, during and after the November conference.
This is not a traditional event-marketing or conference-production role. It is a fractional leadership position spanning audience acquisition, lifecycle marketing, content, community, product adoption, partnerships, sponsorships, lead generation and cross-functional activation.
The ideal candidate combines the strategic instincts of a general manager with the executional strength of a hands-on growth marketer. They will quickly establish the plan, mobilize existing conference and Constant Contact resources, personally drive the highest-priority workstreams and create clear accountability across teams.

10+ years of experience in growth marketing, integrated marketing, demand generation, audience development, lifecycle marketing or a related field.
Previous experience operating at the Head of Growth, VP, Director, fractional marketing leader or senior consultant level.
A track record of building integrated growth programs around major conferences, virtual events, media properties, content platforms, communities or large audiences.
Demonstrated ability to translate audience scale and engagement into product adoption, customer acquisition, qualified pipeline or revenue.
Strong command of acquisition marketing, email marketing, lifecycle marketing, conversion rate optimization, content distribution, audience segmentation and marketing analytics.
Experience developing multi-channel campaigns across paid media, owned channels, social, influencers, partnerships, sponsorships, PR and sales activation.
Strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, lead management, attribution, funnel analytics and first-party data strategy.

Experience working inside or alongside a complex enterprise marketing organization is a plus.
The Ideal Profile
You are an unusually versatile senior marketer who sees a large, engaged audience and immediately understands how to create long-term value from it.
You know how to build demand, but you are not limited to demand generation. You understand brand, content, community, product, lifecycle and partnerships, and you can connect them into one coherent growth system.
You are equally comfortable building an executive-ready strategy, reviewing a conversion funnel, shaping conference activation, designing an audience journey and pushing a cross-functional team toward a deadline. You know when to personally execute, when to direct internal specialists and when to bring in additional support.
Most importantly, you take ownership. You do not wait for perfect inputs or organizational clarity. You establish the plan, bring the right people together and drive the work forward.
Initial Priorities
During the first 30 days, you will:
Assess conference's audience, historical performance, current plans, data, technology and available resources.
Define the value-creation strategy and success scorecard for conference.
Establish the integrated plan covering the pre-conference, live-conference and post-conference periods.
Identify critical gaps in audience growth, lifecycle marketing, content, product integration, data capture and conversion.
Launch the highest-priority campaigns, audience journeys and optimization initiatives.
Create a single cross-functional operating plan extending through the post-conference period.
Align leadership around expected outcomes, material risks and decisions required.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the next chapter of an established marketing platform, working alongside the teams at conference and Constant Contact to turn a major annual event into a powerful, year-round growth engine.
